Therapy Session Information

During our initial therapy session we will begin to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. I explore why you’ve come in and give you an opportunity to ask me questions. It’s essential that we establish trust and create a safe space so I ask that new clients meet with me weekly.

I also review privacy and confidentiality and how they are defined within this relationship. 

  • A therapy session is 50 minutes.
  • The cost is $250 for a 50 minute session.
  • I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Insurance

If your health insurance allows you to choose an out-of-network provider, as most PPO plans do, I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company to verify coverage for out-of-network providers and rates of reimbursement. (reimbursify.com is a useful reimbursement resource.)

Note that I’m unable to take new Anthem Medi-Cal clients at this time.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved for you. If you must cancel your therapy session, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying the full cost of the appointment.
